What Joys a Yorkie Can Bring to You!

Posted by Dan on Jan 3, 2009 in Lucky Hit

Having a dog can bring many joys to a persons life. My wife and I have a little Yorkie. I was never that guy that liked the small dogs. I wanted the big dog to protect the house and pull me on my skate board. My wife got her way and we got the lap dog.

A few great things about Yorkies:

1)      They are very loyal and love to snuggle.

2)      Easy to potty train on puppy pads, pee pads, or in the yard.

3)      They don’t shed. This is great for me because I have bad allergies.

4)      They are low maintenance and easy to travel with.

After just a few week of living with my Yorkie I became a big fan of them. Many other people in my family now own them. It’s almost contagious, because when others see yours they want one.

The best tip I can give you is when training your dog to use housebreaking pads make sure you give your dog a reward every time she uses them. Make sure you are consistent with your reward. I use little treats. My Yorkie often waits for my to get home for work to use the potty because she wants that treat. They are really smart little dogs.

If you are interested in getting dog I would highly recommend getting a Yorkie, I think you get nothing but long lasting joy and fun for years. Yorkies rule!

How to Get the Best Out Of Your Colour Contacts

Posted by Dan on Jan 3, 2009 in Lucky Hit

It’s an established fact that contact lenses make the best alternative to a pair of spectacles. They are simple to use, but they require to be looked after. There are several ways that you can take care of your contact lenses, which will ensure that they remain in good condition and stay comfortable when you wear them.

Before putting your daily contact lenses in, the first thing to do is wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water. It is also extremely important to make sure that you dry your hands thoroughly with a towel, as soap or chemicals may get on the lenses, making them feel very uncomfortable and possibly even burning your eyes when you insert them.

If you can’t manage to persuade your contacts to go easliy in your eyes, you should never use force to try and get them in. Instead, just put some solution in the palm of your hand, and gently rub the lens in the solution. Then, before putting it back in your eye, you should put some solution on it and it should go in without any complications.

Anytime you are not wearing your colour contacts, you should always soak them in fresh solution. This is really important overnight, as the solution removes the protein from your contact lenses. If you do nott soak them over night, they can end up causing damage to your eyes.

If you have diabetes, there are some excellent herbal diabetes eye solutions available.

If you are new to contact lenses, you should ask your optician or their staff any questions that you may have. As a rule, after you have been fitted for lenses, the optician and his staff should demonstrate how to put your contacts in, how to look after them, and anything else you will need to know.
