Puppy Grooming Socialization: Nail Trimming Conditioning Steps For Young Puppies

Posted by Dan on Jan 27, 2009 in Lucky Hit

If all puppies sat like good little girls and boys when they are having their nails trimmed, it would be a perfect word! Like most children though, puppies don’t like to sit still and they are just way too curious to be still! This is no cause though to ignore cutting your puppy’s toe nails. By not cutting their nails they can grow and splitter and become sore and infected. If you are looking for some denim dog skirt then be sure to pick up some right now!

They can even get caught on other things that could rip the nail to the nerve or artery causing grave injury to your puppy. It is very easy, even with the most rambunctious of puppies to trim their nails with a few easy guidelines. First off, get your puppy associated in a positive way with you holding them on your lap and touching their paws. You can easily find some pink dog dresses right away for your new puppy!

This could be done as a play activity. The point is to get them familiar with you touching and holding their paws. So as a first guideline touch your puppy’s paw while using your clicker and click the same time you are touching their paws. Then give them a treat. If your pup pulls back, go a bit slower. You want them to be at ease during this.

Secondly, once your dog is comfortable with having his paw touched, push the envelope a bit further by picking up his paw and moving it around. Whenever he lets you do so without flinching, click and offer a treat. This is giving your dog a positive association to go with this experience. Now it is time to introduce the nail clipper to your puppy, but do not click just yet!

The first stage in the process is to get the dog used to having this shiny piece of metal up and close around its paws. Whenever he sniffs at the nail trimmer and does not appear to be scared, click and offer a treat. This can seem like a lot of work, but your patience will be rewarded! The next baby step in this process is to fit the nail clipper over each of your puppy’s nails, but without clipping. Just add a little pressure. And again, click and treat when he appears to accept this activity. Also you will want to be sure to pick up some heated dog bed right away for your loving pet.

Finally you are ready, so in this last step, clip the first nail, click your clicker, and offer a treat to your puppy. Be sure to be enthusiastic with lots of affection. When you feel he is ready for the next nail, move forward and clip the rest in a timed fashion. Remember to go slow and make the process fun.

Mortgage Loan Modification – Save Your Home from Foreclosure

Posted by Dan on Jan 27, 2009 in Lucky Hit

We have a real problem looming, which affects 30,000000 homeowners in the USA. Increasingly homeowners are losing their jobs, or having their salaries reduced. Increasingly home owners are, through no fault of their own, falling late with their car, mortgage or credit cards repayments. These people are in imminent danger of defaulting on their mortgage and seeing their home suffer foreclosure. But there is a solution, and many home owners are not even aware of this as an option: it’s referred to as loan modification – sometimes called loan mod.

Loan modification doesn’t involve re-financing, so there’s no credit check required. It doesn’t involve debt consolidation. What it is, is renegotiating the current loan to achieve a lessening in interest rate and, under special circumstances, a lowering in loan principal. And it doesn’t involve increasing the term of the loan. A new, lower, payment is achieved which is affordable to the home owner. Loan modification is a real win-win situation for all parties concerned. To the homeowner it often means the difference between keeping or losing their home. To the banks, it can signify no less than the difference between staying afloat or sinking.

There’s no reason why home-owners can not arrange their own loan modification by contacting the loss mitigation dept at their bank. But it seriously is not recommended – the banks will usually offer only a small lowering in interest, or no reduction at all. Much better to employ the services of a reputable loan modification firm, which uses its own team of dedicated loan modification attorneys, who do nothing but talk with banks all day every day and have the knowledge and experience to accomplish a telling lowering. Going it alone is like representing oneself at a court of law – seriously not recommended. An experienced mortgage loan modification firm can achieve a 30 – 50% lowering in interest without increasing the term of the loan. It’s well worth the fee they charge to achieve this.

Beginner Golf Tips

Posted by Dan on Jan 27, 2009 in Lucky Hit

Golf is a sport, and like every sport, it is something that is learned. When you are serious about playing golf, you will want to think of ways that you can play and become good at this game. When you want to show the off your abilities, you need to make sure that you have something to show off. You do not want to look like an amateur on the golf course; you want to look like you are a pro.

The best thing that you can do when you are a new to golf is practice. This is something that is important in any sport. Golf is no exception. You are not going to be good at this game over night. It is something that you have to be serious about so that you can figure out what you have to do to get your game together.

As a beginner at golf you should practice your swing. Once you have the swing that you need and want down, you will want to make sure that you have the right iron. You will go through many different ones during your game and you will soon realize that you will have your favorites. Some irons will do better for you than others. It is going to be all in your swing to determine where your ball lands.

You can go to the green to practice or you can use your backyard. If you have a nice sized yard, you can set it up and practice there in private first before you move ahead to the green. This may be better for anyone that is looking to become good and improve as they go. This is something that may be a little bit easier for the person to do as well.

Another way to become good at the game of golf is to read all that you can on it. You should make sure that you understand the rules and the way the game should be played. When you know what you need to do and how you need to do it, you will soon see a big improvement in your game.

You should also try and watch professional golfers play the game. You can watch them on television or you can watch the others that play on the same green as you. Take in how they are swinging and their technique. This is a good way for you to see what they are doing and how you may be able to use some of their techniques in your own personal game as well.

Remember as a new golfer take your time and have fun. You are not going to become a professional over night and it is important to use what you know to your advantage. You will be a better player and find that you earn more respect when you finally do end up playing and winning.

Quick Guide To Finding a Wedding DJ

Posted by Dan on Jan 27, 2009 in Lucky Hit

Planning for a wedding can be a very involved process. There is the ceremony itself, but then there is the catering, the location, the transportation, the flowers and of course the DJ. In a place like Philadelphia, with around one and a half million people, a person should not have a hard time finding a DJ.

However, finding the right Philadelphia Wedding DiscJockey is a process that needs every bit as much attention as the caterer. There are a number of things to consider when looking for and deciding on a Philly DJ. The most important rule is to not, under any circumstances, consider using your cousin and his ability to create awesome mix CDs. Now that rule number one is established, here are some quick pointers to hiring a Philly Wedding DJ.

First, check your immediate area for DJs and then compile a short list. Write down five or six DJs leaving room for notes. Notes will help you compare one DJ against another. Second, and probably the obvious next step, is to make the calls.

When talking with the DJ you will want to concentrate one a few key bits of information:

1. Cost. How much are you willing to spend? Does the DJ charge by the hour or by the event?

2. Song library. It’s important to find a DJ that offers a wide variety of music. You will not only want a DJ who can change up the music, but be able to cater to the tastes of your guests. Your 100 country music fan guests will become very weary after 30 minutes of rap music, or vice versa.

3. DJ interaction and personality. Does the DJ seem like a fun person? Is this someone who is going to entertain as well as play music? In some cases a great DJ can make a bad master of ceremony. You are going to want someone as lively and entertaining as the music they are spinning.

Aussie Internet Marketing Kids

Posted by Dan on Jan 27, 2009 in Lucky Hit

In January 2009 in Streaky Bay, South Australia, 2 Aussie kids filmed a YouTube video to promote their dad’s affiliate marketing ebook. They filmed it on the beach and this was their first effort to market online. They called themselves the Aussie Internet Marketing Kids. It is apparent that they live in the generation Y environment of technology and computers in their everyday life. They are naturals at it.

To start with they filmed their dad with a camera set up for YouTube. Afterwards they put together their own marketing effort on film.

Smart Online Profit Systems

Both kids are apprentices of the smart online profit systems. They have learned from the beginning and consider themselves internet marketing apprentices. They are unlikely to go down the path of a 9 to 5 job and are very likely to succeed at their task. They are little entrepreneurs in the making. And still, let us not forget that they are kids having fun, and lots of it to boot!

Promoting Dad’s Affiliate Marketing Book

So, off to the beach they went. The Aussie internet marketing kids wandered to the beach in Streaky Bay. The waves are crashing in the background from the Great Southern Ocean. They promote their dad’s affiliate marketing ebook and the video is only 26 seconds, yet it gets the message across in a genuine way that most adults cannot master. The future holds a lot of promise for these budding internet marketers. Maybe we adults can learn a lot from kids after all.

Life is meant to be fun. Kids teach us that by acting naturally. We need to unleash our inner child more often and learn from kids that life is not meant to be so serious all the time.

Is it worth using a reverse cell phone service on a strange phone call I received?

Posted by Dan on Jan 27, 2009 in Lucky Hit

A difficult question and one that you really have to answer on your own, but how badly do you need to know who owns that number?

If you have been getting nuisance phone calls then you can just report them to your local police station and then it is in their hands. If you trust them to pursue it then that should be the matter finished. If you really want to be certain that someone is going to take action then you need to get in touch with their service provider. The service provider will take the matter seriously and it could lead to the person making the calls being disconnected.

You will really struggle to phone their service provider though without the use of a reverse phone number website as without those websites then I don’t know of any other way of identifying who they are with (unless you phone their voicemail and they haven’t changed their message then sometimes you can tell from that). So even though there is a small charge then the best option is to just use it and find out the service provider and the name and address of the person.

Then go to the police and report them and give the name and number, then just to make sure go to the phone company too.

Then they can’t escape getting into trouble. Even that doesn’t guarantee that they will stop, it depends on the person and the reasons behind it - but if you know the name of the person you at least have the upperhand and if you confront them with the evidence and let them know you will just keep reporting them then you are no longer being a faceless victim and most people are cowards and will just stop straight away.
