Pregnancy is a beautiful experience.
It literally engulfs your life and becomes YOU.
So, if you have an iPhone or iPod touch, of course you will want add pregnancy related apps to your collection.
For instance…
You might be on your way to pregnancy massage appointment and have a baby name idea… there is an app for that, you know.
Your girlfriends may call you about baby shower gift ideas… is there an app for that?
You may want to chat with other mommies-to-be in a natural pregnancy forum… you can make an app for that!
iPhone Apps for Mommies-To-Be
App #1 – Best Pregnancy Calendar
My choice is iPregnancy from Dr. Gregory P. Moore. It will help you keep track of your pregnancy right along with your doctor!
Once your due date is established and entered, the program will keep track of your current progress in pregnancy including your:
- Current gestational age in weeks and days (like doctors use)
- Current gestational age in lunar months
- Progress bar that will show you how far you have progressed
- Current Trimester Time remaining until your due date (in weeks and days)
- And more…
App #2 – Best Baby Game App
I really like playing with the app called Babyface. It is a “baby appearance predictor”. Meaning, it creates a full color graphic of what your baby may look like
.
Now, this is for fun so don’t be surprised if it isn’t accurate. The app has an amazingly scientific explanation behind the technology which is supposed to generate the babyface… despite that mumbojumbo, it is a lot of fun.
App #3 – Best Baby Naming App
NameShake is an app I really love. It has over 19,000 names and, the coolest part, you just set a few parameters, shake your iPhone and, voila, out pops a cool baby name you never would have thought of.
My husband loves it too. We purchased quite a few baby naming books but this app is really all we needed.
Obviously, there are gobs of iPhone apps. These are just the 3 I played with the most.
I hope you like them too!

Imagine my surprise when Steve finally popped the question to me. It happened in our favorite eatery. He got down on his knees and produced a beautiful ring. I simply was astounded. Of course I said yes. The people around us begin clapping in joy. It was a wonderful moment. After the initial joy wore off, I realized that there is now a wedding to plan. With wedding, there are countless details to attend to. One of which is wedding invitations. Since I am a do it yourself type of person. Having diy wedding invitations is naturally going to be my plan.
I started my research in the internet. I was pleasantly surprised that there are many do it yourself wedding invitations available by many online stores. And the pattern, color and designs available are all very nice. Since I have not decided on a color scheme yet, it might be too early to actually buy other initiations right now. Since scrap booking is one of my hobbies, I think I can incorporate my skills with that into my diy wedding invitations making. I have all these different type of scissors and cutters to make nice rounded corners.
As I finalized my plans for my wedding date. I will have more of an idea as to what type of do it yourself wedding invitations I can get my hands on. I have a younger sister who is very talented with crafts. She told me that she is more than happy to assist in my wedding preparation. I am lucky to have such close family. I look forward to my big wedding day!

In fashion, the perfect handbag is something that is essential, yet elusive. It should at once be a fashion statement, but not too gaudy or garish, and definitely not simply one of the season’s passing trends. Prada handbags have become known for their high class elegance and quality, and for many years have been celebrated as the best handbag available. More than simply a sack to put your things into, these hand bags are portable, personal works of art.
These beautiful handbags are products of the Prada Company itself, from start to finish. They are conceived, developed, and put together completely in house, which is a very good thing because Prada is one of the most highly regarded companies working in Fashion, both in its native Italy and the world. Their name is synonymous with style and elegance, and their handbags conjure images of women who command attention with their grace and demeanor. One of the most common are Replica Prada Purses
The company was started in Italy in 1913 by Mario Prada, and was known by the Italian for Prada Brothers, Fratelli Prada. The company soon began designing and making its famous leather goods and handbags after its arrival on the market, and it was only a small amount of time before the company garnered far reaching respect. Its products were hits in both Europe and the United States. As business grew, the company opened up two small shops in Milan so that it could sell its authentic wares, like handbags, shoes, and Replica Prada Fairy Bags
As time went by, the company’s handbags became symbols of luxury, style, and elegance within the fashion industry. Reviewer after reviewer raved about Prada’s simplicity and taste, and in time the entire world began to want to have the distinctive handbags. In spite of the growing fame, these classy handbags remained true to things that were central to their original design, simple and functional, yet also distinctly tasteful and classy — such as Replica Prada Nappa Bag
Although Prada handbags have stayed true to their origins, it would be a mistake to think that they have not evolved over time. The original handbags were made from walrus hide, which is extremely heavy. Designers soon realized that it wasn’t exactly practical to tote around the heavy hide, so they began to increase the use of fine grade leather in both the handbags and handbag accessories, but they didn’t stop there. One of the first things that the company did was to waterproof their handbags and luggage.
Even today, the company’s designers are constantly on the look out for new high-tech fabrics and other materials to improve the quality of their product, and have used such things as crystals, woods, even tortoise shells to add flair to the handbags in the past. Given the quality of these handbags, it should be no surprise that they are still highly sought after, bought and sold all over the world.
But today’s continued success did not come without a struggle. With the entire fashion industry in decline during the 1970s, Prada suffered as well. But at that time, the company was taken over by Miuccia Prada, and she has run the company since 1978. Ms. Prada is hailed for her sense of fashion and it was she who led the company through the unsure times of the seventies to market dominance today.
