I have been to several of the world-class theme parks in Southern California lately. One thing I found is that you can enter into the world of many favorite animated cartoon characters if you enjoy that sort of thing.
The first place we think of is Disneyland, the hangout for Mickey, Donald and all their buddies. For great local insight and tips for planning a Disneyland vacation, the SoCal Vacation Guru is the site for you. Who doesn’t love the wonderful job Disney has done in creating a fictional universe of lovable characters?
A few miles down the road at Knott’s Berry Farm you’ll find all the Peanuts gang at Camp Snoopy. Charlie Brown, Linus and the others fit nicely into the personality of Knott’s Berry Farm.
Your next stop would be Universal Studios Hollywood and the many TV and movie stars such as Betty Boop, the Hulk, Batman and Spiderman, joined most recently by Homer Simpson and his wonderful family. You can find some good details about Universal Studios Hollywood from the SoCal Vacation Guru.
The third park to visit for characters would be Six Flags Magic Mountain up in Valencia. The first thing you see when you get close to the park are the Six Flags roller coasters. But skulking around the place are the nutty characters of Warner Brothers cartoons, notably the Looney Tunes guys.
You will find Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and the Roadrunner, some of whom hang out with the guests. To provide additional fun for small children, there is an area set aside for them, with a strong emphasis on the characters (not everybody wants to just hit the roller coasters). You won’t have to go too far to find a couple of the Looney Tunes folks here and there in the park.

It is possible to obtain a lower vehicle insurance premium by selling your vehicle and trading it in for a smaller model. This is normally if the vehicle you were driving was a larger, more luxurious one. It is expensive to insure these kinds of vehicles because the costs of repairs are usually exorbitant. The insurance company will also have to pay out a lot more if the vehicle is stolen. Parts and such are also usually at a higher cost, so the premium will be altered accordingly to cover the risk.
Most people are happy with their cars, especially if they are driving an SUV or a luxury vehicle or sports car. Unfortunately with the current economic crisis, people are holding tighter onto their wallets and are trying to find ways to cut costs. Downsizing your vehicle could be the wisest choice possible. This is because larger, more expensive vehicles are usually heavier on fuel too! If you purchase a smaller, more fuel efficient vehicle, you will be surprised at the amount of money you will save on petrol.
In addition to this, downgrading usually means selling or trading in your vehicle and purchasing a cheaper one. This will give you some spare cash in your back pocket, which everyone can do with! As your new car will be cheaper, the cost of repairs and replacement of parts will be a lot less. This will in turn lower your premium. If you do trade in and sell your old vehicle for a cheaper model, take this time to reevaluate your auto insurance policy. Perhaps you can find a better deal than you had before by compiling some comparative insurance quotes and making an informed, renewed choice.
In conclusion, it is easy to see that downgrading your car could be a very wise financial choice for you that comes with many benefits.

You know that you need to exercise to keep your body in good shape, but do you know that you should also do some exercises for your brain to keep it fit? Your brain is like a muscle and it should be stretched once in awhile so that you have the ability to stay as sharp as possible. One of the ways you can work your brain is to do some exercises for short-term memory. Short-term memory is what we use to embrace information for just a short time. Some examples of information we utilize short-term memory for include addresses, names of people, and so on. Short-term memory is called this because after we have it we lose it. This allows our minds to remain open to take in more information so that it is not all mixed up with useless garbage. By completing exercises for short-term memory, however, we can improve the sum of information we can maintain in our short-term memories and we have the ability to improve the time in which it remains there.
The Peek A Boo Picture Game
A great way to train for short-term memory [improvement|} is a game where you study a picture. This can be any photo you choose. It could be one you choose from a magazine, it can be one of you and your family at a get to together; it can be whatever you like. Look at the photograph for a couple minutes and then set it aside where you cannot see it. Using a pen and paper, attempt to write down every detail you are able to regarding the picture. Then, look at the photo once more. Did you get everything right? Did you get a couple of details wrong? By doing this game again and again, you will work your short-term memory and this will increase your ability to hold data. This is a fun exercise for developing your short-term memory and it a game everyone can play. Yes it is even great for improving children’s short term memory.
Learn With Audio
Just like the picture game, you canuse audio clips to aid in exercising your short-term memory. Once more you are able to use anything at all. You could use something like a top 20 countdown on the radio, you can make use of talk radio, whatever you like. Keep in mind to be sure you are able to whatever you’re using so that you have the ability to go back and verify your work. Try to recall all the details you can by writing them on a piece of paper once the clip is done. Then, rewind and see how many details you got remembered. By repeating again and again, you can increase your short-term memory power and this will increase your capacity to retain things you hear.
These are just a few of instances on how to improve your memory now, or more specifically, how to exercise your short-term memory. These can be practiced anywhere, anytime and the more you train, the more significant your short-term memory will become. That is great news for anyone who hears something and then forgets it right away. By completing training drills for short-term memory, soon you’ll be able to keep ahold of that information a little longer.
