Learning Piano For Beginners
If you are trying to find for beginners piano or keyboard tuition it is possible that sat down at the keyboard in your life or you might be someone who had a few classes years ago and would like to take it up again. Even if you have never sat at a keyboard before, the way you are taught will remain the same.
There are many tuition methods but in general they are all quite alike. Even if you are learning using electronic keyboards instead of a normal piano, the instruction you will get will be the same. Many students will need to discover how to read music and play a few classical pieces but they could also be interested in learning some contemporary music, pop songs or perhaps even Jazz. A lot of students are also interested in accompanying themselves or others whilst singing.
This might appear a lot to accomplish as a complete beginner but if you know what your aims are then accomplishing them will only be a matter of time. Within a relatively short period you will find that you can achieve all of the above.

Learn To Play Piano
There is a method of teaching piano that I really love which is used by a home study course called ‘Piano For All’. I recently wrote a review for this course and will share with you my impressions. Then you are taught how to recognize those notes on the musical staff. Then they show you how to play a simple melody which entails using all of the fingers, as a leaning aid. The melody is written out so you can see it and there is also a diagram of the piano keyboard reminding you where the notes in question are
This part of the lesson is done in a very short time. Now you are taught the three notes you will need to enable you to play a basic chord. You are given an easy rhythm to play the chord to. You are asked to play the fist note of the chord an octave lower with your other hand giving you the bass. Add a rhythm to this and suddenly you are playing authentic sounding piano.

When playing this chord with its bass line becomes easy you can then go onto learning a few more simple chords. With the handful of chords you have learned you can put them to one of the rhythms you have been taught and playing the chords in a sequence you will find yourself able to play recognizable songs. This is a wonderful method for learning the piano as it makes you feel secure and gives you an appetite for learning more. As you move on you are shown some different chords, different rhythms and tunes. In no time at all you find yourself getting better as a piano player and musician and with each lesson the playing sounds more and more authentic.
In my opinion this method of learning is one of the best as it encompasses playing many styles of music from classical to pop, rock, jazz and gospel. It also verses you in reading music as well as playing by ear.
